This Black & White, long exposure photograph, captures a view the Stornetta Lands that lie south of the Point Arena Lighthouse isthmus. The monochromatic presentation accentuates the layers of each rock and the seemingly endless depths of this coastline, created by millennia of interactions here at the Cascadia subduction zone, as the Pacific Plate dives underneath the North American Plate.
This view of the Stornetta Lands is printed on metal for a vivid and long-lasting view of the most westerly lighthouse in the US. It can be hung with without a frame.
