Title: "Are you seeing when you look?"
The Point Cabrillo Lighthouse Headlands park stretches about a mile north of the lighthouse to Frolic Cove, the sight of the sinking of The Frolic, in 1850, that put Mendocino on the map. The footbridges that dot the park cross seasonal brooks that drain the meadows above.
Taken with an infrared camera in the late afternoon sun under low clouds, the grasses glow with the light at the end of a summer's day. The Point Cabrillo Lighthouse shines at the top of the frame, like a distant memory.
These photographs are printed on canvas ready to frame, or on canvas framed in a black wood frame.
